I am mostly a full leather jacket type of guy but my main jacket lately has been a Alpinestars half leather and material long jacket with full armor. It was getting pretty ratty so I started to look for a good replacement. Rolland Sands makes some really good looking leather jackets, so I checked to see if they had something besides leather. I found this Tracker jacket which is a waxed canvas and you can put in armor if you want. It is a jacket that just oozes quality, its heavy and very well made. It looks and feels like a very expensive type jacket with the satin liner and just overall quality. Looking at it I thought, is this just good looking fashion crap or an actual good performing jacket? Well, it fit me like a glove and in no way needs any break in, it is soft and comfortable right out of the bag! I chose to install the armor because that is one of the most important features of any jacket I wear. I took it for a test spin on my Triumph Scrambler up to Venice Beach. The jacket is a hair longer than most in the back so when your riding it doesn’t creep up in the back exposing your tramp stamp. It also blocked out the wind and on the cold morning and really kept you warm. Overall, this is by far one of the best jackets I have ever owned and I will wear it till it is destroyed and hopefully I can still replace it with the same jacket when that time comes. At the price of $390 it is s great value for the quality and protection it provides.
